DIGITAL ECONOMY AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN BUSINESS IN VIETNAM: CURRENT SITUATION, OPPORTUNITIES, AND SOLUTIONS

This paper analyzes the role of the digital economy and artificial intelligence in business activities in Vietnam in the context of global digital transformation. Based on a systematization of theoretical foundations, the study evaluates the current state of digital economy development and the level of AI adoption across industries and enterprises. The findings indicate that Vietnam has achieved significant progress; however, it still faces limitations in human resources, data infrastructure, and institutional frameworks. At the same time, the paper highlights major opportunities arising from markets, technology, and policy. Accordingly, several solutions are proposed to promote sustainable development of the digital economy and enhance the effectiveness of AI application in business in Vietnam.
