Tóm tắt

This research is to analyze the impact of green accounting on firms’ financial performance. The research data are collected from the reports of non-financial companies listed on the stock market within the VN100 group, combined with quantitative analysis methods to test the research hypotheses. The results indicate that green accounting has a negative impact on ROE with a two-period lag, and a negative effect on Tobin’s Q under the moderating effect of firm age. In addition, the study contributes to providing further empirical evidence on the role of green accounting in business operations, while offering managerial implications for firms in integrating environmental factors into accounting systems and sustainable development strategies.
