Despite increasing attention to green finance and sustainable agricultural development, empirical studies on green credit development in emerging economies remain limited, particularly in Vietnam. This study investigates the factors influencing green credit development in the agricultural sector at commercial banks in Ho Chi Minh City using an integrated C-TAM-TPB framework. The study employs Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on survey data collected from 249 Agribank staff members. The findings reveal that Perceived Benefits (PB), Environmental Concern (EC), Green Products (GP), Stakeholder Pressure (SP), Banking Technology (BT), Bank Brand (BB), and Banking Policies (BP) positively influence green credit development. Among these factors, Bank Brand exerts the strongest effect, while Stakeholder Pressure shows the weakest influence. The study contributes to the green finance literature by extending the integrated C-TAM-TPB framework to sustainable agricultural finance in Vietnam and provides practical implications for promoting green credit toward sustainable agricultural development and food security objectives.
