Abstract

Halal standards are known as some of the most stringent regulations in the daily lives of Muslims, particularly in the areas of food and services. Halal tourism refers to a form of tourism that provides services, facilities, dining, accommodation, and other amenities in accordance with the ethical and religious principles of Islam. Using a literature review approach, this study aims to establish and strengthen the theoretical foundation of Halal tourism, while also analyzing its current development status in Vietnam. Based on the findings, the study proposes feasible solutions for the sustainable development of this highly promising tourism segment, contributing to the diversification of tourism products and attracting Muslim travelers, a potential market segment.
