Tóm tắt

Vietnam’s tourism sector is undergoing a strategic transition toward sustainable development, aiming to balance economic growth, cultural preservation, and environmental protection. Within this context, creative industries have emerged as a critical driver of innovation in tourism development. This study examines the role of creative industries in advancing sustainable tourism in Vietnam by integrating theoretical perspectives with practical case studies. Employing qualitative methods, including document analysis and synthesis, the research highlights how creative industries diversify tourism products, enrich visitor experiences, foster community participation, and support the safeguarding of cultural heritage. The findings demonstrate that creative industries not only enhance the competitiveness of Vietnam’s tourism sector but also contribute to its long-term economic, social, and environmental sustainability. The paper argues that embedding creativity into tourism strategies is essential for positioning Vietnam as a distinctive and resilient destination in the global market.
